Bluecube named as finalists for two technology awards

Bluecube have been named as finalists for two awards at the Lincolnshire Digital Awards 2016. The winners for all categories will be named at the awards ceremony which will take place at the Engine Shed venue in Lincoln on April 28th 2016. The event will be hosted by TV presenter and "The Gadget Show" host, Jason Bradbury.

Bluecube were nominated for three awards and have been shortlisted as finalist in two categories. Managing Director Paul Reames is one of four finalists in the Best Digital Entrepreneur category. The company has also been named as finalist for the Digital Innovation Award, in recognition of the software that support the companies Silverline hosted voice solution. The software offers call control features for the end users device and allows the end user to access the Bluecube service desk and invoicing information. Bluecube picked up Best Mobile Use of Mobile Technology Award in 2015 and were runners up in Digital Business of the Year category.

Bluecube founder and Managing Director Paul Reames commented "We were very proud to pick an award at last year's Lincolnshire Digital Awards. The event itself was a fantastic evening and the award was well deserved recognition for all of the hard work from my team. We are very excited at being shortlisted for two awards and I'm particularly proud to be nominated for Best Digital Entrepreneur”. Reames, who started the company from his home in 2008 after leaving one of the UK's major mobile operators, added “Bluecube are all about embracing the best of some of the wonderful technology that's available within our industry. The industry we work in is changing at an exponential rate. You can either wait until your hand is forced and you have to make changes to the way you do business, or you can get involved. We are constantly looking at new technologies and how we can use them or integrate them to our own solutions and products. I think it is wonderful that Lincolnshire is now putting itself on the map as a county that recognises the need to promote the exciting digital projects and innovation that is happening within this city and indeed the county".
